Not eating before a run can be also causing some problems because you will feel exhausted after just a short distance. You need some energy source that your body can burn during the run, that way you can run for longer distances.
Timing is Everything
Before a run, you have to eat something that will provide your body with energy something that is loaded with carbs and low in fat. The time when you are eating this is also very important, you never want to eat something right before going running. You have to rest for at least half an hour and give your body time to process that food and turn it into energy.
